Those words stuck with me, and one day I started writing this story about a young Yuppie couple who are busy renovating a fixer-upper house in Brooklyn when a metal box stuffed with cash falls from the ceiling.

Speaking of money from the sky - movie money! Actor Dennis Farina liked this novel and paid to option it for a couple of years. Ah, those wonderful Hollywood checks, which always seemed to arrive in time for Christmas...
 
I met Farina once, when he invited me into his trailer on the set of “Law And Order” in New York. He was the most perfectly groomed man I ever saw - shoes polished, gray suit pressed, moustache neatly trimmed and every hair on his head in place.
 
A gentleman, through and through. He would have been perfect in the part of the aging ex-con, but Dennis Farina died before it could happen. So ended the found money for Found Money, but I still believe it could happen again.
